Continuing with our question of what (exactly) makes contemporary art, we look at two younger artists, Danh Võ (1975) and Cameron Rowland (1988) as generational counterpoints to older, long-established artists, like Hans Haacke and Jenny Holzer. In addition to thinking about what makes these artists' works contemporary, we might also consider how the work of younger artists differ (or is the same) from the work of the older generation. Do they employ the same materials, media, presentation, and subjects?
